- I got mine in the mail and it went bad the second time I used it. But don't let that bother you. These people have great customer service. They sent me a new one with a label to ship the old one back. I've been in this hobby for years and service like this makes it much easier and has people coming back. Thanks progressive for the GREAT service. People don't usually leave reviews unless there bad. It's nice to read good reviews all over this website.
- I had my original prc600 power supply for one year and two months...when I noticed that the power plug that inserts into the back of the unit had shorted out out. The cause could have been not being pushed in all the way. But I swear it was :) Anyhow called them up, and sent an email with pictures showing the issue. Two days later a new prc600 was on my door step with instructions about sending mine back. Customer service is some of the best I've ever had. And check my original review about a year and two months ago of this ........highly recommended and highly satisfied
i did have a issue with mine but it looks like i got the problem all sorted out. besides this issue i just had its has been a great power supply and i think its back to being a great supply again..
it was getting hot and shutting down when i would charge packs. i ordered a new supply to replace this one, after i got the new one i decided to open this one up and take a look inside of the power supply, i found that the wire to the fan had come unsoldered and that is why it was overheating and shutting down,
i soldered the wire back onto the board and it does not seem to be overheating any more, it was getting extremely hot to the point i thought it was not a good idea to use it any more. i am glad its working again but i hope it was not damaged from getting really hot when charging and that it will still last for quite a while..
i originally thought it was going bad for another reason but it seems to be fine now that i have the fan running again.
that is really just a stupid problem that could happen on any electronic unit, so i guess i cant complain too much, but over all it seems to be a good unit before i had the issues and now that i have fixed it, it seems to be a good unit again. it was just one of those freak things that probably don't happen often..
First the service was outstanding.Returned any phone call questions I had within minutes...
Ended up with the PRC600 power supply, seems perfect with my thunder power dual charger. Ill charge my two 3700 five cells at
at 8 amps each. Two months and going strong. Five stars
