We've taken the Surface combo and made it even better: we made it portable. As the name implies, this combo is ideal for surface applications: cars, trucks, buggies - anything where you're running low-voltage, high-capacity packs. Got a bunch of 3S 6000mAh batteries for your off-roader, or 2S 8000s for your buggy? You don't need a thousand-watt power supply to get those charged up, but you do need fast charge rates if you don't want to spend all day charging!

This combo combines the 306B and the PRC500 power supply, giving you enough power to hit a 30 amp charge rate on packs up to 3S, which means less time charging, and more time driving. With everything tucked neatly into our ultra-portable Sidekick case, with all the accessories you need to get going, this combo is the ultimate pit crew.

This is a true plug-and-play solution - we assemble your combo for you! We'll mount your gear, drill the holes, connect everything up so that when it arrives, all you have to do is plug in to AC power and start charging.

Since all our cases are built to order, your case may take a few business days to get ready, but it's worth the wait.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this charger wad game changing for me. Absolutely game changing. I went from the Traxxas dual charger for my 2s and 3s large (6500mah) packs to this and am BLOWN AWAY! I got through parallel squid charging and balance wires and can now charge, store or discharge my packs sooooo much faster. I used to have to strategically charge my packs and plan ahead. This thing changed everything for me. I am beyond impressed.

I know I could have likely saved money by maybe building myself, or getting my own power supply, but this plug and play took all the guess work and just put me at ease. Seriously - in my opinion, I'd rather play it safe than sorry with these things. And I'm fairly mechanically inclined.

I also love that I can just close it up and put it away or take with me anywhere. This thing is SPECTACULAR. again I say that this was game changing for me. I don't even stress about charging anymore. I can keep my packs at storage volts all the time now and have a 6500mah pack (or two in parallel) charged from storage to full in about 15 minutes! FIFTEEN MINUTES at 2c (13 amps for one pack and 26 amps for two)... Again - GAME CHANGING.

Progressive RC was also very helpful when I reached out online with questions via the chat process.

Very nice product built with quality craftsmanship. The staff are very knowledgable and extremely helpful; which was what I needed since I am a beginner in RC. I'm extremely happy with this combo. Such a convenient setup to travel with. Charges my 6S pack with ease and barely gets warm. The case seems bulletproof and there's enough room for the AC cord and charge lead next to the PS. (Posted on 7/2/2013)

Great little combo Progressive has put together. I elected purchase and construct myself, things are a bit tight under the deck as an earlier buyer said but the unit works great and is ideal for transporting to a track or even just charging up in your garage and packing it up when your done.

The crew at Progressive are great, any questions and they'll be glad to get you fixed up or pointed in the right direction.

Beautiful box with everything nicely fitted. I am using it with the parallel board and I am able to charge six batteries (3S 2200) within 30 minutes. Works very well. Easy to carry. In addition, item was delivered in three days!! In short, money well spent. (Posted on 11/12/2012)

Great configuration, extremely well put together. Fans are quiet on both the power supply and charger, barely more than a hum when charging at 20amps+.

My only complaint is that a parallel balance board does not fit with the lid closed. If this combo was offered in the slightly larger case they have for other charging setups, I would prefer that.

Aside from that, it is great. Everyone at the field loves it and is impressed with the build quality. (Posted on 10/30/2012)
