Description

The TransTEC Beetle is an ultra lightweight HD FPV drone designed around the DJI Digital FPV System. An incredibly compact 2.5" whoop style quad, this is a great option for anyone who is looking to try out HD Micros!

With removable prop-guards included, the Beetle is ready for indoor or outdoor flight!

This PNP version of the Beetle does not come with the DJI Air Unit, and will need a DJI-compatible camera and VTX system to broadcast HD FPV. This version includes the new revised all-in-one flight controller that does not have any issues using external receivers such as Crossfire or Frsky.

Got my order in a timely matter

Flys nice with a little work

This thing flys pretty good when I got it flashed correctly and zip tied the rear frame to decrease vibrations. I originally purchased it to practice indoors but the prop guards are flimsy and they add serious jello to the video feed so I don't bother using them. That being said its still nice indoors when no one else is home. They put an AIO board in this one but the manual, website and every review I seen had a separate FC and ESC so I had to take it apart to figure out which firmware to use. It took a little work but for the cost of this drone it does fly pretty good and ProgressiveRC responded promptly when I emailed about the FC issues so I will definitely use them again but Transtec has still not responded when I asked them about the incorrect components and incorrect manual so I will try and avoid using their products in the future.
