Love 'em! Take up less room than JSTs, when I solder them up, I plug them together, with wire on the opposite side if possible, to work as a heat sink, and keep the pins aligned. If i solder them apart, the plastic melts a little, and they might not fit together. I hope more people use them and they get more common.

I use these for the receiver battery connectors on my larger size helis. Soldering is very delicate. The thermoplastic body of the plug is not a high temperature poly. I tin the wire then lower the temperature of my soldering iron to 650 and quickly tin the plug tabs. You have to be quick and not linger with the iron or the plastic will melt. When I solder the wire to the tab I apply the heat to the wire and let it migrate to the tab, not the reverse. I wish they had made these from Delrin or some other high temperature plastic.

Just started using these on my Twisted Hobbies
39" Crack Yak. Didnt like JST for 15 amps + and I did not want to use bigger deans. These also have a little bit more length for soldering than other Mini Deans I have seen. Another great product that is also supported by the availability of a 6x parallel charge cable which you can't build for what they "charge" for it!

Excellent quality small plugs I use for all purposes above micro/indoor and below 20 Amp. In F3F gliders for radio power and funflyers for propulsion.
