Great connectors

Great quality connectors!!!! Definitely hold up I’m using them on 14s packs with 200amp ESC in a 800 class helicopter flying 13.5 deg pitch with no problem

Still looking for "THE" high power connector.

I've been using these for a few years for my high current applications. I'm going to look for a different connector though. The design of these is faulty in my opinion. Having a non polarized connector for batteries that have the energy potential to hurt you badly just flies in the face of good industrial design. Should you be paying attention? Unequivocable, yes. Should you pay the price for a momentary loss of said attention with burns and destroyed equipment when a keyed connector has been an easy solution for so many years? No way.

I've always struggled to build these connectors. It is extremely difficult to get the connector inserted into the housing and often times the whole assembly tips over even using two tools to stabilize it and often when this happens the insulation on the wire ends up getting cut in the process. I soldered electronics professionally for 8 years and still struggle to get these things soldered without problems. If you let just a tiny amount of solder overflow onto the outside it will virtually ensure you will never get it into the housing. Making this mistake also virtually ruins the connector as the solder is nearly impossible to remove especially if it has gotten into the ridges for mating. It takes so much force to insert the bullet into the housing that often times the connector is driven past the ridges inside the housing which tears them and compromises the integrity of the fit.

On many occasions I've gotten one connector finished and inserted into the housing only to wind up destroying the housing while completing the second half.

All in all I'm a believer in a heavy duty soldered bullet connection but these simply present too many challenges to success mostly due to the design of the housing to continue fighting them.

Seriously?

I am very surprised reading reviews that say these are easy to connect together and are cheap & flimsy. As far as connecting them together, I dont think it is easy at all. If you are paying attention to what you are doing, as you should be anyway, there is no concern whatsoever. I've NEVER plugged batteries together or been able to plug these in the wrong way. And I've NEVER had one crack or break - even if I am dismantling the plug to change it or something.
