Description

The EC5 is a great connector, but assembling them can be frustrating at best and dangerous at worst. This unique tool solves those problems for good.

Designed from the ground up in house here at ProgressiveRC, our EC5 Assembly Punch makes it a breeze to insert the EC5 bullets into their housing. Once the connector is soldered and ready to be popped into the housing, simply align the semi-circular lip on the end of the connector - the punch will cover over 180° of the bullet's edge, allowing you to apply even pressure safely and easily. Then it's just a matter of giving it a light tap with a hammer, or even pressing it in by hand!

Precisely machined from stainless steel, this tool is ready to put in a lifetime of hard work, and is proudly made in the USA.

Awesome Little Tool If You Use EC5s

As soon as I saw this it got added to my order. Well made and at a fair price when no one else sells anything like it in the RC hobby space. Anyone that uses EC5s and solders their own battery & esc connectors knows what a paint getting the 5mm bullet plug into the plastic housing can be at times. Most people myself included usually will resort to using a flat head screwdriver which works but can also damage if not carefully done. This little tool is designed to sit around the wire & on top of the bullet so when you hit it in its evenly going in and the wire doesn't get damaged.
