Would be even better with stronger magnets

Nice idea but problematic implementation

One of the magnets in the the cable I received doesn't want to stick very well to much of anything. Coupled with the stifness of the 14 gage silicone wire used it is very difficult to get the weaker magnet to stay stuck to any kind of cylindrical cell with stainless end caps. IF both magnets were as strong as the good one I received AND more flexible 16 gage silicon wire were also used, this rig should work well in relatively low amperage applications (you shouldn't be trying to pump big Amps through something like this anyhow).

This magnetic charge cable helped me solve a problem of balance charging an individual cell within a lithium battery pack. Really good idea!

Excellent

Being an RC guy, I have ‘fancy’ chargers and like their features. These magnetic charge cables are perfect for 18650 Li-Ion cells for my flashlights. I can have full control and info about their charge. I charge them as single cells, so don’t need any balance cables. The dedicated, clip in style chargers for 18650 cells (and other) are good, but lack the control and charge info we are used to on RC grade chargers. These cables are perfect for RC guys who are into flashlights or vaping.
