The Meteor65 is a perfect 1S whoop drone for indoor flying - ready for the winter race season! It is equipped with the new BT2.0 connector, single-board F4 1S FC, and 0802 19500KV motors! With a stronger and powerful system, you’ll notice immediately on takeoff how much better this 1S 22.84g whoop is. Compared to older 1S whoops, you'll be amazed at the control and power of the Meteor65.

Meteor65 is the first generation whoop drone powered by the brand-new solid pins BT2.0 1S battery. The BT2.0 connector effectively decreases internal resistance for much better discharge performance compared to the JST-PH connector. The BT2.0 connector can provide a more stable and powerful 9A continuous current and 10A burst.

This Acro edition uses the 19500kV motors and 31mm 3-blade props, to give you a longer flight time when you don't need the insane speed of the Race edition. The new motors have a ball bearing instead of brass bushings, and come with preinstalled connectors for easy repairs.

The Meteor65 frame has been reduced by 0.75g to only 3.08g. The battery slot is closer to the center of gravity for smoother flying experience, and you will land on the motor screws instead of the battery.

Overall, the Meteor is the new standard for brushless 1S whoops, and this special edition makes it even better!

Betafpv meteor 65 acro review

First of all...thank you ProgressiveRC for the fast delivery and good price. The first thing I did was to charge a battery and plug it into the quad to see if I had video. To my dismay I had OSD but no picture. So I removed the canopy and after re-seating the camera connector to the vtx I had video!! I bound the quad Frsky Xm to an Iflight if8 radio with no issues. The quad is very stable in all three modes (good for me - a beginner). Plenty of power and about 31/2 minutes slow flight time. The camera angle is a bit hight for indoor furniture hopping but ok oudoors for faster flights. The vtx signal is a little bit weak for flying in an area of high wifi traffic. My next quad will have a 50mw minimum camera with adjustable angle.

Amazing Little FPV Quad

I JUST Beta FPV meteor65 Acro Edition this afternoon. it takes a little bit of time to get this quad up in the air. I use a Taranis xd9 plus as my quad transmitter. This transmitter has little to do with the quad purchase, however the Meteor 65 has a taranis RX built in so you will have to learn how to set up a Taranis radio as well as use Betaflight. There are many videos to follow, but they are not all easy to follow. Just know that my quad did not come with ANY directions, but if you google "Beta FPV meteor65 Acro Edition setup" you will find Beta fpv's website and the info will help. Just know you will have to set up 3-4 AUX switches (mixer too). Aux 1 to Arm and Disarm Aux. 2 flight modes, Aux 3 Turtle, and Aux 4 Beeper. *NOTE if you find you quad rolling continuously in the GUI Quad display (lower right of screen) in the Receiver tab, select the JR radio option and this will stop. It has to do with the Channel mapping. To Bind its easiest to plug it into Betaflight and use the CLI command line, "bind_RX" and then setup bind on the Taranis. Remember this is not a PNP (plug and play), there is a little bit of knowledge required to get this little guy up in the air. As to how it flys, its AMAZING! it is super locked in. In Air Mode, this little 1S quad is a beast! It will fly indoor or out. I love it so much I just might get the HD version just to make little flight videos via the built in SD card/DVR built in to the HD version. The reason I went with the ACRO version of the M65 is the longer flight times because it lighter, and uses a little slower motor vs the Race M65, also the motors use a Ball bearing vs brass bushing so they should last longer. This little quad come with a little hard shell case, 2 batteries and extra props and a dual battery charger. I also bought the extra 8 battery deal ($29) from ProgressiveRC for this little guy. I expect to fly the crap out of this quad at work! This thing beats the hell out of all the tiny whoops I have flown. Once you are in the goggles, this little beast flys a lot closer to the larger race quads than all the rest of the tiny whoops I have flown. Time will tell how well it holds up. I take care of my stuff and in 6 months Ill com back and follow up. Today's date is 4-9-21
