TX-XLK
Compact videogame style radio still has all the features you need
$119.99

Get ahead of the curve with the next game changing transmitter from FrSky, the Taranis X-Lite. This revolutionary radio blends the functionality and reliability of FrSky transmitters with a compact videogame style controller. The X-Lite is ergonomically designed, featuring 4 switches and 2 sliders, which means you can still fly your fixed-wing models as well multirotors and helicopters.

Compact in size means you can take it virtually anywhere. It features a haptic vibration feedback system along with the voice and sound alert warnings. The X-Lite has the smoothest control possible with the pre-installed high precision M12 Lite hall sensor gimbals. The easy to access battery bay allows for quick and simple battery swaps using 18650 cells.

The X-Lite runs on the familiar OpenTX software and the model memory is expandable with the addition of your own micro SD card. Like all FrSky's new transmitters it has a wireless feature that lets you link up wirelessly to other FrSky radios for training. Additionally it can link up to the FrSky FreeLink App for monitoring telemetry and configuring receivers. Long range is an option with the support of the upcoming R9M Lite 915/868MHz module. Other features include Receiver Match, Real-Time Flight Data Logging and Super Low Latency for competitive flying. Overall this Radio has all the features of its predecessors in a smaller package at an unprecedented value.

X-Lite is eXcellent

The FrSky X-Lite doesn’t compromise putting all of a Taranis Q X7S into something the size of a Xbox controller. I expected some compromises but really there are none. It’s OpenTX just smaller faster tighter so to speak. Definitely aimed at “thumbers” vs “tweakers” tho. Best feature = price!
Worst Feature = nope the USB still doesn’t support charging the batteries (there are many inexpensive silicon solutions to do so, it’s counterintuitive that you have to remove the not included 16500 (yup not the bigger one like your FatShark battery pack might take) to charge the batteries. But are theses show stoppers or just a darn, I wish they had done that? I think the later... because I find myself picking up the X-Lite first, rebinding Quads I have on the QX7S or my old X9D+ SE with flame graphics to the X-Lite. And this IS the best controller for tiny whoops, it just feels more natural on a whoop. My 2 cents. Oh the sticks need to be shorter... but only a little, so that’s a “so what” in my opinion. Two Thumbs up (lol) for the X-Lite

Awesome

Coming from flysky and I didn't realize what I was missing with opentx. Love the xlite design. Perfect fit for the gamer in me. Smooth gimbals and great ergonomics. Progressiverc delivered in 2 days (not counting Sunday) and saved me from an agonizingly long pre order from another site.

Thumbers Delight, Nice fit and finish!

This transmitter is a real top quality product. The only down sides are the lack of adjustability in the stick ends and the odd sized battery (18500) Which are not included. EVERYTHING ELSE IS TOP NOTCH! I am a thumber which works out perfectly for me. Pinchers might find the short sticks to be a let-down. I currently have a Taranis Special edition, a QX7, and now this.....My new favorite by far. Crossfire may be an issue on this. Frsky makes a long range module for this transmitter that reportedly performs equally to the crossfire. The ability to add an external antenna to this controller for improved range is just an added bonus. The controller has a very solid feel and the finish is amazing.... =]
