"The Surface Pro" 600W Combo
Need to get your car's packs charged - and fast? "The Surface Pro" is the setup you're looking for.
As the name implies, this combo is the pro's choice for surface applications: cars, trucks, buggies - anything where you're running low-voltage, high-capacity packs. Got a bunch of 3S 6000mAh batteries for your off-roader, or 2S 8000s for your buggy? Or both? The dual output of the iCharger 308Duo lets you charge different cell-count packs at the same time - or combine the outputs in sync mode to charge at up to 50 amps!
This combo combines the 308Duo and the S600 power supply, giving you enough power to hit a 30 amp charge rate on 2S packs on both sides of the charger simultaneously, which means less time charging, and more time driving.

My last charger went out and this new charger seems to be built very well.
I’d been using an Icharger 106 for a couple of years purchased from Progressive. No Issues at all... Felt it was time to have the ability to charge multiple packs properly and had a lesser expensive second charger that is now retired, thankfully. Looked at their website, then called them to discuss and made the purchase. Easy to use, gives the all important IR, etc, etc.
Sum it up = Keep up the great products and the equally great customer service.
I researched chargers online for months (3 to 4) before buying this combo. I’m not cheap but when I drop some hard earned cash I want some reassurance that I’m getting what I paid for. I have an IMax B6AC V2 that works fine and I could have just bought another one for $40.00 but I wanted a faster dual charger that went up to 4S and handled all types of batteries. I also wanted the ability to charge multiple and larger capacity lipos down the road when the RC sickness gets really out of control. This one will charge up to 7S. I own balsa Rc planes, race quads, trucks and cars. After reading A LOT of reviews and watching tons of YouTube reviews, I found the Progressive RC site, their combo packages and read their reviews. It seemed like all the reviews kept coming up 5 stars and if something went wrong Craig handled it immediately. When I called to ask questions CRAIGG answered the phone himself and is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE about the products they sell. He spent quite a bit of time, not trying to up sell me, but trying to figure out what the best charger was for my budget and needs. I told him I didn’t have a budget so, in reality, he could have taken me to the cleaners easily. He went through the warrranty advantages/disadvantages of the models I was looking at and the support that’s available after the warranty is up. He also explained the benefit of using a power supply that’s not fully integrated into the charger. Something I didn’t consider at the time but makes sense. The combo I bought setup quick and the menus are intuitive. It’s perfect for what I’m doing and far exceeds my expectations. More time on the transmitters and less time waiting for lipos to charge. If you’re in the market like I was and checking out Ebay or Amazon, check to see if the seller is Progressive RC. If you’re worried about quality, returns, warranty, or whatever call Craigg first. He might just save you some headache down the road or even some cold hard cash. I’m one of those guys that was prepared to spend upwards of $1000.00 hoping I was getting the best when, in reality, it wasn’t necessary. Plain and simple this combo kicks ass! I’m also not worried if it fails at some point. I’m confident knowing that, if there are any issues at any time, Progressive RC will answer the phone and return my calls. Finally, I have to say, I rarely write a review for anything but these days, you buy something online and you’re stuck with it or it’s a hassle trying to get any sort of resolution even if you want to pay. If this charger fails, well . . It’s made in China, what do you expect? BUT, if this charger fails and you bought it from Progressive, you stand a good chance of definite resolution from a guy that’s not out for your wallet! Thanks again Craigg, appriciate all the info and I’m diggin’ this combo!!
The first power supply I ordered went up in smoke within the first 10 minutes of use. However, ProgressiveRC went above and beyond customer service and sent out a brand new unit immediately before I ever sent mine back. The new power supply arrived and for the last few days, it has been working flawlessly. Props to ProgressiveRC!
