Excellent Charger

iCharger 208b has great performance and reliable quality so I purchased a second one. I bought my first 208b about 10 years ago, I've used it to charge lipo, nimh, nicad & even charged a lead acid battery once and it's never let me down. This made it an easy decision to get a second one. I like the fact that it has a metal case and I am already quite familiar with all functions and navigating the menus. iCharger is in my opinion the best charger for the price.

The guidance I received from PRC was outstanding. I was getting a complete rig and Chadd was a great resource helping me select the products suited to my needs. I settled on the ICharger 206 but bought the 208B because the 206 was out of stock. I don't need to charge 8S but was OK with having the capability. I pared it with the Chargery S600plus PS

I did have some set up issues because the standard bal. cable, that comes, with the para. board, does not work with the Charger 208B. A note to Chadd and the response was fast and effective informing me how to rework(very minor) the cable I had and providing a PN for a new cable that is comparable. The 208B is easy to use and has a bunch of useful features I may use in the future

I am very impressed with the speed and quality of the service from PRC. Highly recommended

It's About Time

Not literally but, for a review. I've had my iCharger 208B since mid-2012 and I have not found a single fault in the listed capabilities or it's ability to live up to them. My FWB's kitten knocked it off my workbench to the hardwood floor where it landed flat on it's face. Result, just like a Timex watch ...
As for PRC, the quality of the Customer Service is all that you hear it is. Twice I have lost track of which USB cable came with my iCharger and since the pin-outs are different than a standard cable with the same connectors, I have contacted them wanting to buy another cable and both times they sent me the cable free including shipping. No big deal for them but it was to me.

Most versatile power-pusher ever.

This little thing can push power anywhere. That's kind of a broad statement, but it's fairly true! It can do practically anything I want - even charging and balancing huge 100Ah LiFePO4 battery arrays used in electric vehicles (up to 8 at a time, at least). I'm even setting it up now to use an E-bike as a generator, and the flexibility of this charger means it's fine taking in 5 to 30 volts depending on how I'm pedalling, and output a constant voltage to charge batteries and run an inverter. I don't even do R/C stuff with this charger - I do everything it wasn't meant for, and it STILL never lets me down.

Intuitive and well-designed interface, even on its 16x2 character LCD. Tons of options to allow me to tune it for any application I need. If anything, the only thing I'd want is a more powerful version of this same thing!
