If you're looking to get more batteries charging and already have a couple parallel boards and are trying to save space, this will work.
Recently I got some 10 port 4s only balance boards to try out and wanted to hook up two in parallel to one another. I started looking and saw that PRC made these balance lead splitters and thought, "that's exactly what I need!"
I got two of them (so four total of the plugs) because eventually I'd like to get the icharger 406Duo. Not because of the HV charging, but for the 40 amp two channel output. With these splitters and a XT60 splitter, then up to 40 batteries can be charged at once. I know people can say parallel charging can be dangerous, really the biggest thing is do what's comfortable for you. I fly regularly and if I'm flying with my buddies and they need to charge back up I've got a mobile charging setup. Meaning we can charge in the trunk of the car to keep flying. Without those splitters it would have been possible to get more packs charging to keep flying.
Thanks PRC for making a awesome product for a perfect solution!
A bargain in my book cost me much more to do it myself. As Progressive RC says all connectors are designated male/female by the housings and not by the pins. This is the standard I see everywhere. Not that it is not confusing as it can be.
I've been a Progressive customer and very happy with all my goodies. A buddy of mine made me aware of this little gem so I could run my two parallel boards. This just makes my life easier as I fly a lot of batteries. ProgressiveRC comes thru again, great product, prices and fast shipping.
