Excellent unit have the 308 going on two years. That unit blew up Progressive got me another. Great Service. The 4010 is Larger with more Amp output. Flying 1/4 and 1/3 scale electric planes with large MAH capacity. Charges(4) 5s 5500 from storage to full cap in 35 mins using ParaBoard no sweat.
Thanks Chad for the Icharger 4010 and the quick rundown of its operation.
When I decided to purchase a new charger, I looked for features, price, performance, history of problems, and service after warranty. The iCharger 4010 Duo stood out and met all of my requirements. Dealing with Progressive RC was easy and my charger was immediately shipped. I'm extremely pleased with my iCharger and Progressive RC.
Stop reading reviews and buy this charger already. I have 2 of them and dont think i can live without them anymore. I've broken one by plugging my pack in while still in serial mode instead of parallel charging mode and progressive replaced it at only a fraction of the cost. I have to say though, DO NOT buy a meanwell power supply. The guys at Progressive have to go through them for PS warranty and they denied my dead PS twice claiming it was "dirty power". This was at 2 different locations and I've had absolutely no other issues. So instead of buying another one EVER, i spent $40 on ebay and got an old dell PS that works better than the meanwell and has been rock solid for 2 years.
so in short:
ProgressiveRC and iCharger duo == Buy now and you wont be disappointed with the support or the product.
Meanwell == never buy, they suck donkey balls. go on ebay and buy 10 power supplies for the price of 1 crap meanwell that wont be warrenteed.
Been using mine for 3+ years now, never a problem. Easy to use. Is there any way to turn off the memory function?
