iCharger DX8

DX8
Dual-channel version of the X8 charger offers incredible power density!
$249.99

We knew it was coming and it's finally here: the all-new iCharger DX8, the compact, dual channel version of the popular X8.

With a maximum potential output of 1600W, the DX8 is second only to the 4010Duo, at a fraction of the size and cost. Charge at up to 30A per channel (50A total) on LiPo batteries up to 8S. With a balance current of a full 2A, charges will finish faster than ever. The full color IPS display provides a wealth of information at a glance, using the operating system perfected on the larger Duo iChargers.

The DX8 can charge at up to 30A, and it can also discharge at up to 30A! While similar size chargers limit their discharge capabilities, the DX8 offers iCharger's trademark support for regenerative discharge, allowing the charger to provide a full 1600W of discharge capability when powered from a suitable battery bank.

Despite its small size and low price, this is still a full featured iCharger, with multi-chemistry support and all the depth of settings you've come to expect, including an improved software interface for recording battery data and upgrading firmware.

A+ Customer service

Can't beat the service here. Big help in keeping me going. Going above and beyond the needs of the customer.

DX8 icharger

I started out with the x8 charger it worked fine and did the job but I could only discharge or charge and not cycle a battery at 30a. Picked up the DX8 so I could cycle batteries. Out of the box after making up the required wiring, it is way easier to use and worth the extra money. (note: it does not even come with any ends to match the charger.) Since I am not racing I decided to go with 20a discharge racks which makes producing the resistance necessary simple.(6- 2.5 ohm 50w 2s), (5-3ohm 100w 3s), (5 4ohm 100w 4s) etc. use #12 copper for connections.

Haven’t used it yet but you should let people who buy the charger their is nothing comes with the charger but let them no what they need to use the charger I still got to get some T60 for the charger most hobby shops don’t carry them nor the balance leads that’s why I had to order the balance leads
