ImmersionRC PowerPlay DVR

AC-IRCPP
Don't settle for poor DVR footage anymore! The PowerPlay is a screen and quality DVR in one small package
$128.99

The internal DVR on FatShark Dominator Goggles is ‘ok’, but it doesn’t come close to the quality that PAL/NTSC can offer. Instead of the MJPEG compression used in the Dominator, the PowerPlay uses x264 (AVC) compression, with a much higher bit-rate. The 30fps frame rate of the Dominator is also doubled to 60fps, which is essential for capturing fluid race footage. The rear-mounted screen has the advantage of letting people standing behind you see what you, the pilot, is seeing.

The PowerPlay ships with a head-mounting accessory pack. A quick-release clip mounts on the rear of the standard goggle headstrap, and the new included top-strap ensures a comfortable fit. A short ‘Y’ cable connects power, A/V, and the fan connector. A longer version of the cable is also supplied, for those who would rather keep their battery/DVR in a pocket, and keep weight off of the head.

Quads which are extremely lightweight, like Tiny Whoops, do not want the extra weight burden of an HD camera system. High quality SD recordings of these amazing indoor flights are therefore of interest. PowerPlay delivers this quality so you can show off your indoor racing!

This Thing Rocks!

I’ve got an old set of Fatshark HD3 goggles. I hate the video I get from the built in DVR so I got the PowerPlay. I’m super happy I did. I get fantastic video quality and it’s very easy to use. Plus people can watch while I fly on the tiny screen.
I’m on a budget and can’t afford digital or HDZERO yet. This is the next best thing to get if your like me.

I’ve never used ProgressiveRC but I’ll gladly use them again. I got my order very quick and it came with an awesome BigFoot sticker. I’ll be returning when they have something I need.

Has been Great!

Ordered this online from progressiveRC and received it within a few days. Other products I've ordered have also been shipped very quickly. they are honest about what they have in stock and have a great selection of good stuff which is nice. The DVR works fine. It takes NTSC analog video and stores it as H.264 format on the memory card. You can USB connect (USB-C connector) the DVR to your PC to charge the batteries and copy files off the memory card. Working out just fine for me. Thanks!

Smooth!

Stoked to find a good rc store in Washington finally, I'm on the other side of the state but it's the quickest way I can get my fpv fix! Power play was awesome, really smooth free rates and the higher res is nice. Much better than fat shark DVR. Perfect for just whoopin around!
