TBS Tango 2

TX-TT2
Dedicated Crossfire transmitter fits in the palm of your hand
$159.99

TBS has been at the forefront of perfecting the interface between drone and mind. The TBS Tango 2 changes how remote controls will be from here on out! Despite being the smallest remote control available, it comes with full size Hall effect gimbals, full-featured FreedomTX (temporary OpenTX fork), the lowest end-to-end latency of any remote and transmission system, unbreakable 3 & 2-position switches, open source operating system, built-in battery, USB-C charging, and so much more! It's not just a retouched game controller, it was designed from the ground up for R/C! The form factor and features make it the ideal take-anywhere, fly-anytime remote control.

The first radio with TBS Crossfire built in. This significantly lowers your cost, increases reliability and minimizes set up time. And the cherry on top are the LUA scripts being part of the familiar user interface. The antenna swivels out of the way, or doubles as a kick-stand when resting. TBS Cloud ready to go from the start. It all just makes sense.

Includes:

  • 1 x Tango 2 remote
  • 1 x Springs Set ( Default and Lower Tension)

Excellent Quality TX - Thumbers Rejoice!

First off, excellent service by ProgressiveRC, you guys' rock!

Not much is needed to be said about this TX, that hasn't already been said.

This is a solid, well-built TX with excellent ergonomics! If you are a "Thumber" then, this might be the right TX for you, even if you don't run Crossfire (which you probably should anyway), you can add on the JR Lite Bay, which is pretty easy and quick, if you want to use other protocols.

For what you pay, there is no doubt this is one of the best deals.

Gimbals are HALL Effect, they are smooth and quiet, it inspires confidence, especially with the large amount of "cost effective" TXs out there. TBS made a great design. The sensors are on the mainboard of the TX, so if you ever need to swap out a gimbal from damage or upgrading to pro gimbals... you don't have to mess with a bunch of wires, it is just a few screws!

Ergonomics is just great on this, fits my hands so well, I have large hands... so typically I will go with traditional TXs. I have not tried a Mambo, but that might be next on my list, as it seems to be a mix of traditional slab and game pad style controllers.

Battery life is fantastic and this V3 board even gets you 1W of crossfire!

I like the stock stick ends, but you should look into the Crown Jewels by TBS. Cheap and fantastic!

Overall, I think TBS has done well here and I really don't think you can go wrong with this TX if you are thumber or really like game pad style.
